Planning Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Establish daily production schedules and determine manufacturing and purchasing sequences to meet planned requirements.
• Coordinate seasonal pre-build plans with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Logistics based on manufacturing capacity and distribution-center storage.
• Analyze work-center load data, resolve capacity issues, revise schedules, and monitor on-time completion.
• Respond to customer-order inquiries and communicate schedule changes to affected customers.
• Review and process nonstandard orders, resolve discrepancies, and provide accurate requirements to downstream operations.
• Coordinate part planning, replenishment methods, supplier integration, ihirify.globalory adjustments, and corrective actions for excess or obsolete ihirify.globalory.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising a planning area.
• Experience with JD Edwards or another ERP system.
• Fluent English in oral and written communication.
• Production planning experience in manufacturing is required.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Material flow process experience.
