Vice President, Procurement and Supply Chain (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Columbia, South Carolina, or Washington, DC, United States

Salary: $250,000–$278,000 annually, paid bi-weekly, less applicable withholdings and deductions.

What you will do

• Lead procurement and supply chain functions across mega-critical nuclear infrastructure projects.
• Develop strategic sourcing and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, market trends, and customer requirements.
• Oversee sourcing, logistics, inventory management, quality, distribution, and long-lead-item fulfillment.
• Build supplier relationships, assess supplier capabilities and quality systems, and conduct audits and site visits.
• Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks while ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, environmental requirements, and storage standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and supply chain team while driving cost reduction and contract execution.

Requirements

• 10+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience leading procurement transformations and implementing effective processes.
• Expert knowledge of procurement best practices, processes, and technologies.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Deep understanding of procurement compliance and risk management; experience in highly regulated industries is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, engineering, or a relevant field. MBA is preferred; willingness to travel is required.
