Director of Supply Chain (Quantum Computing Hardware)

Base salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Own supply planning, including master scheduling, availability forecasting, capacity planning, and on-time delivery commitments.
• Lead, coach, and grow the supply chain organization.
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing to bring new hardware products into repeatable production and ensure supplier readiness and clean production handoffs.
• Manage demand and materials planning, MRP purchasing signals, safety stock, inventory investment, and material budgets.
• Own ERP/MRP data discipline, including bills of materials, routings, planning parameters, and inventory transactions.
• Lead procurement, supplier management, logistics, warehousing, stockroom operations, import/export compliance, and supply-chain risk reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or procurement, including 5+ years leading and developing teams.
• Experience taking complex hardware from prototype through repeatable production in a low-volume, high-mix environment.
• Direct sourcing and negotiation experience with contract manufacturers and precision-machined, cryogenic, or electromechanical component suppliers.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience, including an implementation, migration, or major module rollout, plus experience with BOMs, routings, planning parameters, and inventory control.
• Strong command of root cause analysis, CAPA, lean, supplier quality, continuous improvement, and executive communication.
