Manufacturing Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work

What you will do

• Support the transition of manufacturing ramps to high-volume production while maintaining product quality and reliability.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, quality programs, and quality culture across factory operations.
• Identify quality risks, lead problem-solving teams, and implement corrective solutions for factory and customer-impacting issues.
• Conduct quality assessments and audits, and confirm compliance with quality standards.
• Lead factory quality meetings and implement quality systems for new technologies.
• Maintain FMEA, issue management, and line-yield databases while synthesizing insights through statistical analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field with 3+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or a related Ph.D. with no prior professional experience.
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing and quality.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data extraction tools such as JMP, SQL, or similar platforms.
• Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
