Pick & Place Integration Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California; onsite, full-time day shift

Salary: $110,700–$145,320 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Support the development of new Tight Pitch products in partnership with Wafer Engineering.
• Lead the conversion of existing Gelly Gang products to the Tight Pitch manufacturing platform.
• Develop, optimize, qualify, validate, and sustain semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Establish process controls using SPC, process capability analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Analyze manufacturing data, implement corrective actions, and improve yield, quality, productivity, and cycle time.
• Support engineering changes, NPI, equipment qualification, production ramp, technician training, and technical troubleshooting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a master's degree, or a PhD without experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience with manufacturing engineering and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of automation engineering, automation systems, process engineering, and mechanical engineering.
• Experience with statistical process control, SPC charts, process capability analysis, and process implementation.
• Ability to create work instructions and engineering documentation, including process specifications, FMEAs, control plans, and manufacturing procedures.
• Strong problem-resolution and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to collaborate across Manufacturing, Quality, Product Engineering, and Wafer Engineering.
