What you will do

• Lead and develop a software engineering team building AI agents and AI tooling.
• Set technical strategy, architecture, and execution for cloud-native AI solutions.
• Oversee the design, deployment, operation, reliability, scalability, and performance of AI applications and platforms.
• Partner with product owners, architects, data scientists, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver AI-enabled capabilities.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, security, observability, automation, and operational excellence.
• Manage release planning, resource allocation, project execution, risk management, mentoring, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams and developing engineering talent.
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering, architecture, distributed cloud-native applications, and scalable platforms.
• Experience establishing testing strategies, monitoring and observability standards, incident management, security practices, and reliability processes.
• Experience with cloud AI services, foundation models, LLMs, RAG, tool-calling, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
• Experience with major cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and platform operations.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or similar languages; knowledge of Agile development and Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI assistants, digital copilots, autonomous agents, or AI-powered business applications.
• Experience with AI evaluation, model observability, prompt management, and experimentation frameworks.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.
