Instrumentation & Electrical Reliability Engineer

Location: New Johnsonville, Tennessee, United States; relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $73,947–$115,542 annually, plus a 6% annual bonus target.

hirify.global develops and manufactures chemistry-based products, with this role supporting the Titanium Technologies facility producing TiO2 pigment and slurry.

What you will do

• Support maintenance and operations through troubleshooting, equipment-failure evaluation, repair recommendations, and upgrade planning.
• Provide reliability expertise for instrumentation, analyzers, electrical systems from 120VAC to 480V, motors, MCC starters, VFDs, burners, and control valves.
• Lead root cause failure analyses, kaizen events, problem-solving sessions, and defect-elimination strategies.
• Develop and support mechanical integrity, quality assurance, reliability, preventive maintenance, and PPM programs.
• Support management-of-change activities, process hazard analyses, capital projects, work scopes, equipment specifications, and vendor design evaluations.
• Provide coverage for start-ups, testing, maintenance turnarounds, shifts, weekends, and other non-routine operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least six months of manufacturing or industrial experience, including co-op or internship experience.
• Working knowledge of instrumentation, analyzers, 120VAC–480V electrical systems, wiring, power panels, heat trace, motors, starters, VFDs, or control valves.
• Ability to manage strategic programs and projects while addressing short-term operational issues and multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Clear technical communication, strong interpersonal skills, and a hands-on approach with operators, mechanics, peers, and leadership.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of corporate standards, RAGEGAP, NEC, Safety Instrumented Systems, automated equipment, PFD requirements, SAP, PSM systems, and high-hazard processes.
• Six Sigma or Lean certification.
