Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Decatur, Alabama, USA; eligible candidates must have U.S. citizenship, nationality, permanent residence, qualifying temporary residence, refugee status, or asylum status.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Instrumentation & Electrical maintenance team.
• Provide daily supervision and act as the maintenance leader when other maintenance leaders are off site.
• Mentor technicians through hands-on training, troubleshooting support, and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies for instrumentation, electrical, automation, and process control systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for DCS, PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, analyzers, motors, and electrical distribution systems.
• Manage maintenance activities through the CMMS and support reliability initiatives, shutdown planning, capital projects, and system upgrades.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience managing and leading a skilled maintenance workforce.
• Expertise in instrumentation and electrical systems, including DCS, PLCs, VFDs, calibration, and process control.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and train technicians through mentoring and technical knowledge sharing.
• Proven success improving equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; an associate degree is a plus.
