Reliability Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Newport, Tennessee, USA; onsite. Relocation assistance is provided.

Annual base salary: $92,800–$104,400, plus a monthly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead plant engineering, maintenance, and reliability activities in partnership with the Plant Manager, operations, and maintenance teams.
• Develop preventive maintenance and reliability strategies to improve equipment safety, efficiency, longevity, and operating performance.
• Monitor equipment, CMMS, and plant performance data to identify trends, prioritize projects, and reduce downtime and energy costs.
• Apply RCA and FMEA to identify root causes of critical equipment failures and implement countermeasures.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, including weak-point analysis and DMAIC-based cost and efficiency improvements.
• Oversee engineering projects from concept, budgeting, design, fabrication, and testing through installation, startup, and plant implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another technical discipline preferred.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering or maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience.
• Experience in TPM or reliability engineering required.
• Experience implementing and using CMMS required.
• Ability to work onsite in Newport, Tennessee, USA.
