Maintenance Technician/EIC (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control) - 12hr (7am-7pm)

Location: Forest Park, Georgia, USA; onsite, 12-hour shift from 7am to 7pm

Starting hourly rate: $39.64 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, electrical, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and automated packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, execute work orders, maintain critical spare parts, and document work in maintenance systems.
• Read and update technical manuals, schematics, drawings, and P&IDs; use ladder logic and PLC I/O searches for troubleshooting.
• Perform shaft alignment, lubrication, pump maintenance, pipe fitting, fabrication, machining, rigging, welding, and machinery assembly.
• Maintain a clean workstation, follow plant safety rules and policies, and respond professionally during equipment breakdowns.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, or a two-year technical college curriculum and/or vocational training in electrical or mechanical areas.
• Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, and control systems.
• Thorough knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, motor control circuits, AC/DC circuits, schematics, and electrical devices.
• Experience using hand and power tools, welding and rigging equipment, man-lifts, mills, lathes, band saws, presses, and pipe-threading equipment.
• Ability to use multimeters, follow ladder logic, locate PLC I/O, terminate wiring, and read and update P&IDs.
• Strong self-motivation, dependable work habits, integrity, safety awareness, and ability to work with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems.
• Familiarity with servo motion control systems.
• Additional vendor training in machining, electricity, or welding.
