Associate, Loan Management (Real Estate): Maintaining and servicing real estate loan portfolios, including payment processing, payoff requests, advances, disbursements, document administration, and loan and fee accrual analysis with an accent on accurate servicing, client communication, compliance, and operational controls. Focus on reviewing loan documents, validating end-of-day work, resolving servicing issues, and supporting process improvements in a high-volume environment.

Location: Houston, TX, United States

Annual full-time base salary: $60,000–$95,000

What you will do

  • Maintain and service loan portfolios while interacting directly with borrowers, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
  • Process interest, principal, and fee payments, payoff requests, advances, disbursements, modifications, and extensions.
  • Review and maintain loan documents, collateral records, onboarded loan data, and servicing application records.
  • Complete quality control and end-of-day validation to prevent funding delays and maintain compliance with loan and servicing agreements.
  • Escalate risks, control weaknesses, non-compliant issues, and process concerns while supporting root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate across departments on deliverables, process improvements, change management, and business continuity activities.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in real estate, finance/accounting, business, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of industry or relevant experience, typically at Senior Analyst or Analyst level.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with peers, management, borrowers, and lenders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment and learn new software applications and processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
