Location: Remote
Compensation: $75–$95 per hour

What you will do
- Identify and engage exceptional software engineers for critical Staff+ roles.
- Design creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, technical blogs, conference speaker lists, and technical communities.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define technical profiles and refine sourcing plans.
- Write personalized, technically credible outreach based on candidates’ systems experience and career motivations.
- Use response rates, conversion data, market feedback, and pipeline quality to improve searches.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity in Ashby or a similar applicant tracking system.
Requirements
- Strong sourcing craft, curiosity, persistence, and original thinking.
- Ability to recognize exceptional technical talent and evaluate transferable systems experience for Staff+ engineering roles.
- Ability to conduct technical research and identify candidates through unconventional signals beyond job titles.
- Ability to write concise, personalized, and technically credible candidate outreach.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with recruiters, hiring managers, and engineering leaders.
- Thoughtful use of AI tools such as Claude, Codex, or similar platforms for research and outreach.
Nice to have
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Ashby.
- Experience sourcing backend, full-stack, and systems engineers.
