Senior Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based on-site in Mountain View, California, United States. Six-month fixed-term contract.

Salary: $125,000–$155,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact engineering, cloud, space, hardware, software, and satellite communications roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define roles, design interview loops, calibrate candidates, and improve hiring signals.
• Improve interview rubrics, scorecards, sourcing playbooks, intake processes, and candidate communications.
• Build AI-powered workflows using Claude or equivalent tools, Ashby, Metaview, and other recruiting technologies.
• Manage pipeline velocity, offer acceptance, and time-to-hire while maintaining hiring quality.
• Provide market, compensation, and recruiting bottleneck insights to hiring managers and leadership.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of recent in-house technical recruiting experience at a startup or scale-up.
• Technical educational background in computer science, information systems, or a comparable field.
• Demonstrated partnership with hiring managers and experience shaping role definitions and interview loops.
• Track record of improving recruiting processes, ATS workflows, sourcing methods, or candidate experience.
• Native or near-native English fluency and confident use of AI in daily recruiting workflows.
• Experience sourcing niche technical talent and closing complex offers for passive candidates.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Ashby and Metaview or comparable ATS and interview-intelligence tools.
• Earlier agency recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting across software, hardware, or satellite communications.
