Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Kulpsville, Pennsylvania, United States. This is an onsite second-shift role. U.S. Person status is required for authorized access to ITAR-controlled data.

What you will do

• Manage daily operations, staffing levels, budgets, and production objectives for assigned departments.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and cost performance.
• Train and guide employees in producing quality products according to company and customer requirements.
• Lead cross-functional communication across shifts and departments and support operators with operational issues.
• Analyze department metrics and drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles, including SPC and DMAIC.
• Maintain standard work and recommend improvements to work instructions, processes, methods, policies, and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including experience leading or directing others.
• Three years of direct manufacturing supervision experience is preferred.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with High Performance Work Teams and Six Sigma training.
