Production Supervisor - Back Half Night Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; onsite back-half night shift. Schedule: Wednesday–Friday, 5:30 PM–6:00 AM, with rotating Saturdays. The role requires modified hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Lead production operators and ensure departmental production targets are met.
• Promote safe work practices, partner with EHS on safety training, and monitor workplace hazards and procedural compliance.
• Manage team training, performance reviews, documentation, corrective actions, scheduling, and workflow.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineering, management, and cross-functional teams to maintain efficient operations across shifts.
• Oversee product quality, support defect investigations, recommend corrective actions, and contribute to scrap reduction and document updates.
• Track hourly production results and apply Lean/Six Sigma methods, including SPC, Kanban, 6S, PDCA, and visual management, to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and demonstrated team leadership experience.
• Excellent organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing workforce, environmental, and customer needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and commitment to employee development, accountability, and engagement.
• Must be able to work the specified night schedule, rotating Saturdays, weekends, and holidays. hirify.global does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
