Production Supervisor II - Flex Shift (10a-6p) (Manufacturing)

Location: Schofield, Wisconsin, United States. Full-time, onsite role with a Monday-Friday shift from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; supervisors are expected to arrive before the shift for handoff and transition support.

Starting base pay: $85,731-$100,860 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.

What you will do

• Directly supervise hourly production team members, set performance expectations, monitor results, and issue corrective actions when necessary.
• Execute daily production plans, track variance to plan, and recommend overtime or flex-labor adjustments to meet schedules and productivity goals.
• Coordinate production activities with scheduling, engineering, production management, shipping, inventory control, sales, purchasing, and maintenance.
• Support shop-floor troubleshooting, special design orders, new product launches, equipment upkeep, inventory accuracy, and ERP-based manufacturing processes.
• Lead team communications, interviews, onboarding, training, cross-training, development plans, and performance reviews.
• Drive safety, 5S, lean, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining production records and applicable labor and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant work experience, including 2-4 years in a supervisory leadership role.
• Two-year associate degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field, or equivalent job experience.
• Knowledge of supply chain and sales and operations planning, with the ability to apply it to daily manufacturing activities.
• Ability to coordinate production teams, maintain safety standards, manage staffing, and support continuous improvement.
• Ability to work the assigned onsite Monday-Friday flex shift and arrive before the scheduled start time.
