Audio Seasonal Tour Team (Audio)

Location: Remote, NJ - Ocean Township. Seasonal tour work requires weekend availability and travel from January through June.

Base pay: $20.50/hour.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and break down audio equipment and selected lighting software.
• Play competition music, maintain smooth and consistent audio levels, and provide music between dance entries.
• Operate audio and lighting for awards ceremonies and toggle cues during performances and transitions.
• Make announcements on a microphone when needed and ensure speakers are clearly heard.
• Coordinate with backstage staff and on-site directors, communicate missing music, and solve venue-specific problems.
• Follow event procedures and additional directions from the event director.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of signal flow, mixing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking into a microphone.
• Ability to work in loud, dynamic, fast-paced environments and adapt to changing event needs.
• Ability to work 8–16 hour event days, stand for extended periods, and lift 30–50 lbs.
• Weekend availability and travel from January through June are required.
