2027 Summer Internship - Engineering (DC Area)

Location: Hybrid positions in Washington, DC; Upper Marlboro, Maryland; Rockville, Maryland; and Bethesda, Maryland

Hourly rate: $20.00–$31.00, based on year in school and major.

What you will do

• Complete a paid summer internship lasting approximately 10 weeks between June and August.
• Work on engineering projects that provide real-world, hands-on experience.
• Work independently under the direction of an assigned supervisor.
• Contribute creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, associate's, or other post-secondary program and actively taking classes.
• Associate's degree students must be accepted into a Bachelor's program upon completion.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 and a strong academic record.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
