2027 Summer Internship – Other Engineering Majors (Ventura)

Location: Ventura, California, United States. Hybrid work mode with required attendance at an SCE facility on set days and remote work on remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, interns must reside in California.

Salary: $23.50–$34.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Work on real-world challenges in the utility and energy sector.
• Collaborate with a mentor and cross-functional teams on an assigned project.
• Apply engineering knowledge while gaining experience with industry-relevant software and tools.
• Present the completed internship project at the annual Intern Expo.
• Build a professional network through intern events and demonstrate effective communication.
• Protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, medical, proprietary, and other sensitive company information.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in any engineering discipline at an accredited institution.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must reside in California unless otherwise noted.
• Transcripts will be verified during onboarding.
