Machine Operator I - 1st Shift

Location: MFG - Mankato, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 1st shift Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Salary: $17.25–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and set up production and packaging equipment safely.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs, escalating equipment issues when needed.
• Verify inserts, labels, pouches, product output, and packaging integrity to maintain quality standards.
• Weigh, process, package, load, and transport finished products and materials.
• Document machine attributes, parameters, shortages, scrap, and production information.
• Communicate with line packers, maintain line clearance, clean equipment and production areas, and support a safe workplace.

Requirements

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate in English is required.
• Basic addition and subtraction skills and the ability to follow procedures are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively, maintain a high sense of urgency, and stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, lift totes, lift objects up to 50 pounds, and follow clean-room attire and personal hygiene procedures.
