Machine Operator-Orienter 1 (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite manufacturing environment; 12-hour night shifts from 7:45 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., with daytime training during the first few weeks.

Hourly pay: $20.70

What you will do

• Set up machine lines by interpreting schedules, BOMs, and SOCs, selecting and installing tooling, and verifying the correct resin.
• Start and operate extruders, drives, auxiliary equipment, and line controls.
• Test initial and finished products, make process adjustments, and verify that output meets specifications.
• Package and store finished products according to instructions and complete production data collection.
• Troubleshoot processes, perform QC tests, and validate that the process remains in control.
• Inspect, clean, and return tooling to stock while maintaining housekeeping and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, repetitive tasks, and a physically demanding manufacturing role.
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds and perform standing, walking, reaching, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and balancing.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills, including use of calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
• Ability to understand and convert between metric and English measurement systems.
• Compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements, including required PPE and the site entanglement policy.
• Ability to meet hirify.global certification requirements for operating powered industrial vehicles, where applicable.
