Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $23.15–$30.37 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate laser systems and manual, NC, and CNC presses and cutting machines.
• Use computerized manufacturing technologies to meet production and customer requirements.
• Position materials and tooling, maintain dimensions to print specifications, and edit equipment programs.
• Inspect finished work for dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
• Support production schedules, safety procedures, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of assigned production processes and applicable safety procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment such as tape measures and calipers.
• Ability to lift, slide, and shake heavy gauges of material.
• Fork truck license or ability to obtain one.
• Computer experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and Radan.

Nice to have

• One year of CNC manufacturing equipment experience.
• Three or more years of production work experience.
