Operator II Conversion - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite manufacturing environment; the role requires working 12 AM–8 AM shifts and may require overtime.

Salary: $17.43 per hour base wage, plus a $1 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 4 PM and 8 AM.

What you will do

• Operate, start up, set up, and run conversion-line machinery safely and efficiently.
• Read production schedules and bills of materials, and select the required boxes, labels, netting, and other raw materials.
• Cycle machinery with limited maintenance assistance and make necessary line adjustments.
• Test initial products, including length and bag alignment, and verify compliance with work orders.
• Package and label products according to instructions, including lot numbers, serial numbers, and product descriptions.
• Follow applicable food safety regulations and manufacturing safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand English and the US Customary measuring system, including ruler measurements to the nearest quarter inch.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and push or pull objects weighing up to 250 pounds.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and perform repetitive physical tasks involving standing, walking, reaching, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and balancing.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with dust, fumes, odors, temperature variation, and potential mechanical, electrical, chemical, explosive, and radiation hazards while using required PPE.
