Emissions Project Manager (Air Measurements)

Location: Lombard, Illinois, United States; field work across the Great Lakes Region and beyond with 50–75% travel. Relocation and/or a signing bonus may be available.

Salary: USD $80,000–$128,835 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and mentor field emission-testing teams.
• Perform and manage stationary-source emission tests across the Great Lakes Region and beyond.
• Prepare proposals, test protocols, and technical reports.
• Manage project financials, invoicing, change orders, and project opening and closeout documentation.
• Retain existing clients, develop new business, and grow service revenue.
• Lead customer-facing activities as a subject-matter expert.

Requirements

• At least five years of stationary-source emissions testing experience and familiarity with EPA test methods.
• Current SES Qualified Individual certification for exam Groups I–III.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50–75%.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to obtain DOT certification.
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors in varied weather conditions and lift or hoist equipment weighing up to 40 lb; successful completion of initial and random drug screening is required.

Nice to have

• Current DOT certification.
• SES Qualified Individual certification covering Groups I–IV.
• Experience managing $500,000 or more in annual client revenue.
• Experience with manual and instrumental emissions sampling methods, including compliance testing, RATAs, and CGAs.
