Environmental Project Manager-Remediation & Compliance

Location: Windsor, Connecticut, United States; projects focus on Connecticut and New York.

Salary: USD 110,000–132,849.60 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Manage environmental site investigation, remediation, and compliance projects for municipal, state, federal, utility, and other key clients.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project scopes, budgets, schedules, quality standards, and deliverables.
• Prepare technical documents and reports and perform quality assurance and quality control reviews.
• Lead, develop, and mentor junior and environmental staff.
• Maintain and grow client accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
• Support strategic pursuits, RFQ/RFP reviews, proposal development, client meetings, and trade organization activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or a related environmental science field from an accredited university.
• At least five years of environmental consulting experience, including at least three years of project or program management experience.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to lead project teams and build positive client and employee relationships.
• Ability to work from the Windsor, Connecticut office and support projects in Connecticut and New York.
