Project Manager (Civil Engineering)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin, with willingness to work in the greater Madison area

Salary: USD 100,000–135,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, finances, and technical implementation.
• Lead staff on renewable energy, landfill, civil, and geotechnical engineering projects.
• Work with upper management to develop practice growth strategies and tactics.
• Engage directly with clients and regulatory contacts.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to other staff.
• Apply safety, quality assurance, and quality control processes.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of engineering and consulting experience, including consulting project management.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and project teams.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal development permitting, including Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources stormwater permitting and municipal site plan reviews.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, plus strong technical writing, organizational, management, and communication skills.
• Valid driving license, no major violations, and ability to pass a background check and OSHA physical.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license.
• Experience with renewable energy and solid waste landfill design and permitting.
