Vein to Vein Planner (Cell & Gene Therapy)

Location: Beerse, Antwerp, Belgium. The role requires onsite work in a compressed Wednesday-to-Saturday schedule of four 10-hour shifts, supporting weekend and off-hours operations across EMEA.

Salary: €60,000–€96,255 per year, plus an annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide active planning oversight for inbound and outbound patient material, manufacturing progress, scheduling, and rescheduling.
• Monitor operational disruptions, act as an escalation point, and execute contingency plans to protect on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Quality, Couriers, Global Planning, Commercial, logistics, warehouse, and Manufacturing teams across the EMEA network.
• Support patient material movements, communicate with couriers, and maintain updated forecasts.
• Use V2V and planning systems to create invoices, run reports, manage user and site setup, and prepare courier documentation.
• Track operational metrics, update work instructions and SOPs, support site certification, and communicate risks to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or Cell & Gene Therapy.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and critical issue management.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to present complex operational information.
• Ability to work Wednesday through Saturday in four 10-hour shifts, including weekend and off-hours coverage.

Nice to have

• Experience in planning, scheduling, customer-facing operations, logistics, or transportation.
• ERP experience with SAP or a similar system.
• Familiarity with V2V systems such as EU2, COI/C, ATSM, or CCM.
• Experience in launch, scale-up, or start-up environments.
