Director, Procurement - Biologics Category (Biologics)

Location: Hybrid in Titusville, New Jersey, United States, with at least three on-site days and up to two remote days per week. Alternate hybrid locations may be considered in Spring House, Pennsylvania, United States; Cork, Ireland; Beerse, Belgium; and Zug, Switzerland. Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required.

Salary: $150,000–$258,750 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for the biologics raw-material category.
• Develop sourcing roadmaps using market intelligence, category expertise, and business priorities.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, including selection, due diligence, onboarding, performance, and contract lifecycle activities.
• Negotiate commercial agreements while balancing cost, risk, quality, and business continuity.
• Partner with Supply Chain, R&D, and senior stakeholders to support product launches, operational readiness, and supply-chain resilience.
• Drive cost efficiency, forecasting, budgeting, sustainability, supplier diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including procurement or category management.
• Demonstrated experience developing sourcing strategies, managing suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
• Proficiency with procurement analytics, e-sourcing, or contracting tools.
• Strong communication, presentation, influencing, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty chemical, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with complex supply chains or direct-material procurement categories.
• Familiarity with emerging digital and AI tools.
