Job Shop Machinist (CNC) (CNC machining): Programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce parts from blueprints and solid models with an accent on precision measurement, tool selection, and speeds and feeds. Focus on making programming adjustments, inspecting finished parts, maintaining CNC equipment, and meeting production specifications safely.
Location: Bainbridge, GA, US; in-person work
Salary: $22–$35 per hour

is hiring for an engineering and design manufacturing role focused on CNC machining.
What you will do
- Program parts from blueprints or solid models and update CNC programs for new production runs.
- Set up and operate 3-axis and 4-axis CNC mills and multi-spindle live-tool lathes.
- Perform quality checks with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
- Inspect and replace worn cutting tools, adjust speeds and feeds, and perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Deburr parts, maintain an organized work area, and meet production deadlines while following safety procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of machining experience, including 2 years of CNC milling experience.
- At least 1 year of CNC programming experience and hands-on CNC setup experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions and machine parts with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of tool selection, speeds and feeds, shop mathematics, and precision measurement.
- Basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a safety-conscious approach.
- Ability to pass a federal background check and work in person in Bainbridge, Georgia.
Nice to have
- Experience with CNC lathes.
- Experience with Haas CNC machines.
- Experience with Fusion 360 and SolidWorks.
