Machinist

Location: Onsite manufacturing role; multiple shifts available: 1st shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; 2nd shift, 2:00 PM–11:30 PM; 3rd shift, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM.

Salary: $26–$33 per hour.

What you will do

• Set up, program, operate, start, and shut down a variety of machine tools.
• Produce precision parts according to order specifications and customer requirements.
• Determine machine feeds and speeds and select appropriate tools and materials.
• Read blueprints, measure and inspect parts, and make dimensional adjustments.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, test machine operation, and perform preventive maintenance and lubrication.
• Develop and maintain machine programs and production reports while following safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CNC machine operation skills and strong computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and groove micrometers.
• Good math, analytical, reading, communication, and instruction-following skills.
• Ability to work accurately, maintain attention to detail, stand for extended periods, use hands regularly, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of a post-offer physical, background check, and drug screen.
