Security and Emergency Preparedness Specialist (Manufacturing)

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA produces olefins and polyolefins at manufacturing sites in North America.

What you will do

• Maintain emergency response team readiness, including equipment, documentation, training schedules, and emergency response plans.
• Support drills, exercises, after-action reviews, and technical activities during emergency responses.
• Coordinate inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems and emergency equipment with contractors.
• Support access control, badging, security system monitoring, incident documentation, and access audits.
• Prepare audit evidence, track corrective actions, and maintain regulatory records, permits, inventories, and inspection logs.
• Provide technical support to Operations and Maintenance and assist with emergency response training logistics and community or agency coordination.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant technical coursework is preferred.
• 5–10 years of industrial experience, including 3–7 years in emergency response, fire protection, and/or industrial security roles.
• Fire responder experience required; EMS experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of fire protection systems and NFPA standards.
• Familiarity with OSHA and emergency preparedness regulations.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office, with strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
