Account Manager, Western USA - Express Scripts – Hybrid

Location: Glendale, California; hybrid work aligned with a Cigna/Evernorth multifunction office location in the Western USA. Overnight travel of up to 20% may be required.

Salary: $75,200–$125,300 USD annually, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day relationships with clients, consultants, and producers across an assigned book of business.
• Provide consultation, analysis, and issue resolution for core client services.
• Manage benefit changes, product upsells, new groups, terminations, and escalated service issues.
• Lead internal collaboration and implementation activities for new groups and products.
• Lead client-focused meetings and present monthly or quarterly operational performance metrics.
• Use performance data to support client satisfaction, profitability, retention, and upsell opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 11+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3–5 years with a master’s degree.
• Strong verbal, written communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing projects and applying established project management processes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate proactively, and resolve issues with urgency.
• Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office and internet applications.
