Multi-Craft Mechanic

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global Knoxville facility in Knoxville, Iowa, United States. The role does not include travel, and relocation assistance is not authorized. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $30.93 per hour at the starting rate, increasing to $37.28 per hour once certified.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, repair, modify, calibrate, and adjust automated machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and production equipment, including motors, generators, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, bearings, clutches, and computerized equipment.
• Build, test, and calibrate manual, automatic, digital, and computer-controlled processes.
• Use oscilloscopes, ammeters, meggers, multimeters, PLC interfaces, optical and laser instruments, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Read and apply mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams and repair manuals.
• Support machine availability and a strong environmental health and safety culture.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED completed before starting.
• At least three years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, build, install, and calibrate industrial equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints.

Nice to have

• Technical degree or diploma in robotics, automation technology, industrial robotics and automation, robotics and automated systems, or a related multi-craft technology program.
