Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift (Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: Monroe, WI, United States; onsite, 3rd shift from approximately 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Salary: $31–$35 per hour, including the premium shift differential.

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain specialized forms and labels production machinery, including presses, die-cutters, coaters, rewinders, slitters, balers, wrappers, and sheeters.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on complex mechanical, electrical systems up to 480V, hydraulic controls, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose web handling, tension control, servo drive, registration, PLC, VFD, sensor, and process control issues.
• Read equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints to complete maintenance services and equipment overhauls.
• Provide mechanical support through basic welding, fabrication, and precision alignment of rollers, gears, and press components.
• Record work orders, labor hours, and parts usage in the CMMS while collaborating with operators and production supervisors to reduce downtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in printing, packaging, web converting, or high-speed manufacturing.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing three-phase electrical systems up to 480V, mechanical drive systems, and pneumatic/hydraulic controls.
• Ability to interpret industrial equipment schematics and technical manuals.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces; availability for evening and morning shift hours is required.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience with Jennerjahn, Rotoflex, Toppan Moore, EVTEC, VITS, or Sanford machinery.
• PLC troubleshooting and minor program modifications with Allen-Bradley or Siemens systems.
• Knowledge of process control systems, vision systems, and quality inspection equipment used in label and forms production.
