C4I Technician

Location: San Diego, California, United States; some international travel and at-sea testing required.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 USD annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain computing, networking, and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair network and computing equipment.
• Perform software updates and verify compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide technical support alongside U.S. Navy personnel.
• Support at-sea testing of unmanned systems on small and large vessels.

Requirements

• Current active Secret security clearance required.
• Current U.S. citizenship required.
• At least 5 years of experience as an IT technician or in a related position.
• Experience operating and administering Linux-based systems via shell.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and repairing network and computing equipment.
• Ability to work in dynamic vessel-based environments and travel internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience operating and troubleshooting SATCOM equipment.
• Experience working onboard Navy vessels.
• Experience with unmanned systems.
