Digital UX Designer Intern

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global corporate office in Pella, Iowa, USA

What you will do

• Research user needs and solutions across the digital product design lifecycle.
• Design concepts and prototypes and collaborate with software engineers to bring them into products.
• Participate in user research and observation to understand users and personas.
• Design within an established design system and component library.
• Track and document product metrics such as user adoption and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with UX designers through stand-ups, pairing sessions, design reviews, and best-practice sharing.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Current bachelor’s student in Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
• Knowledge of user experience best practices and UI standards.
• Working knowledge of Figma.
• Ability to work onsite at the Pella, Iowa, campus.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience.
• Knowledge of Jira and software development lifecycles, including Agile, Lean, and Waterfall.
