Associate UX Designer

Location: Hybrid role in Austin, Texas, United States, with regular attendance in the office.

What you will do

• Support the design of web-based software throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Assist with user research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
• Analyze research and analytics data and translate findings into actionable design insights.
• Create design artifacts including user personas, workflow diagrams, site maps, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and engineering-ready assets.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and refine solutions based on feedback, testing, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, developers, and cross-functional product teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of related industry experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills and understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience with user research, prototyping, and visual design tools such as Figma, FigJam, Figma Make, Replit, Adobe Creative Suite, Optimal Workshop, and User Interview.
• Foundational knowledge of problem framing, interviewing, ideation, iteration, usability testing, and measuring success.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work regularly from the Austin office and attend office events.
