Salary: USD 115,000–195,000 yearly

What you will do

• Design clear flows, behaviors, and experiences for native desktop and mobile applications.
• Create cohesive experiences spanning hirify.global hardware, software, and content.
• Participate in user research and A/B testing, using qualitative insights and quantitative data to improve designs.
• Define user-centered features and products based on customer motivations, goals, and needs.
• Develop sketches, flow charts, prototypes, and other design deliverables at the appropriate level of fidelity.
• Collaborate with product managers, software developers, hardware engineers, industrial designers, content, marketing, and business stakeholders while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing web and mobile applications using user-centered design techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, interaction design, graphic design, industrial design, information science, computer science, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating UX design solutions, processes, consumer-facing applications, and successful product releases.
• Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience applying quantitative data and qualitative user insights to guide design decisions.
• Hands-on experience with Figma and familiarity with current UI/UX platforms and guidelines, including iOS and Material Design.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree or experience with design systems.
• Experience designing combined hardware and software interactions, design applications, or community features.
• Interest or experience in DIY or crafting domains.
