UX/UI/Technical Content Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, engineers, UX writers, and content strategists to translate business goals and user needs into product experiences.
• Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and low- and high-fidelity prototypes for new and existing features.
• Support user research by planning sessions, documenting observations, synthesizing findings, and maintaining research artifacts.
• Help maintain design system components, interaction patterns, and documentation across the product.
• Prepare interaction specifications and handoff documentation for engineers, and participate in design critiques.
• Conduct competitive analysis and document design decisions, outcomes, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in HCI, interaction design, UX design, product design, graphic design, cognitive science, or a related field.
• Portfolio with actual screens and flows demonstrating problem framing, interaction design, information architecture, multiple concepts, and design rationale.
• Portfolio evidence of using AI tools to improve UX design efficiency and designing AI features such as prompts, copilots, recommendations, or automation flows with attention to trust, transparency, and user control.
• Deep familiarity with Figma for visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Understanding of user-centered design, usability, and accessibility principles, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, iterate quickly, and manage multiple tasks in an organized, detail-oriented manner.

Nice to have

• Coursework or project experience with enterprise, fintech, or data-heavy products.
• Exposure to design systems and component-based design.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and how designs are implemented.
• Figma prototyping experience for interaction design and usability validation.
• Familiarity with WCAG and inclusive design principles.
