Regional Buyer (Manufacturing)

Location: La Porte, Texas, United States; onsite

Salary: $90,091–$140,767 annually, plus a 6% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Execute regional procurement activities, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, contract implementation, and documentation.
• Support site procurement strategies and category objectives across assigned operating locations.
• Drive cost savings, total-cost-of-ownership initiatives, and working capital improvements.
• Partner with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Planning to ensure material availability for manufacturing operations.
• Manage supplier onboarding, performance, compliance, and commercial issue resolution.
• Analyze spend, identify sourcing opportunities, monitor supply risks, and support procurement transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, or five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or a related commercial role supporting manufacturing or operations.
• Experience supporting multiple sites or regional operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with category management, contract administration, supplier performance management, RFQs/RFPs, and negotiations.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office, including Power BI; advanced Excel skills are preferred.
