Projects Environmental Health and Safety Advisor (Onshore) (Construction EHS): Supporting project teams and developing EHS plans for complex onshore construction projects with an accent on risk evaluation, regulatory compliance, and site safety. Focus on conducting inspections and audits, preparing Construction Phase Plans, coordinating emergency and traffic management plans, and supporting high-risk project stages.
Location: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; homeworking and teleworking as a location-independent worker

What you will do
- Integrate EHS requirements and resource needs into bid documents and contract preparation.
- Support project managers with EHS risk evaluations and information handovers.
- Participate in site inspections and prepare Construction Phase Plans, Local Emergency Response Plans, and Traffic Management Plans.
- Conduct inspections and audits of construction activities and support site management with EHS activities.
- Ensure compliance with national and international dangerous goods regulations.
- Coordinate site EHS campaigns and compile monthly project reports.
Requirements
- NEBOSH Certificate; a Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety Management is preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation for large construction projects, including offshore and onshore operations.
- Experience with inspections and ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Experience developing EHS arrangements for Principal Contractors under CDM regulations.
- Full driving licence.
- Additional relevant competencies include CDM Awareness, HSG47 awareness, CCNSG Passport, accident investigation, Safety by Design, fire safety, and IOSH Membership.
Nice to have
- Diploma or equivalent in Environmental Management.
- Top Set investigation training, COSHH Assessor, Manual Handling Assessor, safety coaching or behavioural safety experience.
- First Aid at Work certification.
