Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom, supporting Southern Operation Centres from Kent, Essex, Bedfordshire, Cambridge, Avon and the Midlands.

Salary: £35,000 per year plus car allowance.

What you will do

• Support the Health & Safety Manager with compliance across legislation, company procedures and best practice.
• Advise managers and colleagues on health and safety matters across the business.
• Develop and review risk assessments, safe systems of work and company policies.
• Investigate accidents, submit RIDDOR reports where required, and produce accident statistics and compliance reports.
• Conduct inspections and audits across operational centres, monitoring compliance and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate training, facilities compliance, contractor maintenance, statutory inspections, committee actions and health and safety expenditure.

Requirements

• Full driving licence.
• NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills.
• Good IT skills, especially in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to provide excellent customer experience and operational excellence.
