What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, annual goals, customer experience, transactions, operations, servicing, and sales.
• Lead, coach, develop, interview, and select branch employees while managing performance and staffing decisions.
• Identify retail and business banking needs, grow business relationships through proactive outreach, and build the bank’s community presence.
• Oversee complex account servicing and error resolution, taking ownership of customer issues through completion.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and bundle products and services where appropriate.
• Maintain compliance, security, fraud prevention, audit, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Ability to use common PC software, including Microsoft Office, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Business Banking Specialist qualification within 18 months of hire; insurance licensing may be required within 18 months, with training provided within the first six months.
