What you will do
- Complete a 6-to-24-month management development training program with structured branch and corporate department rotations.
- Learn teller operations, platform activities, business development, customer service, operational procedures, compliance, security, and reporting.
- Review daily reports and conduct branch audits to ensure adherence to internal guidelines and audit regulations.
- Develop leadership and performance-management practices, motivate employees, and strengthen branch culture.
- Identify customer needs, recommend banking products and services, coach employees, and resolve customer concerns.
- Lead staff meetings, set priorities, and authorize transactions within designated limits while managing fraud and loss risks.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
- At least two years of retail banking experience preferred, along with previous supervisory experience.
- Customer service and sales expertise, leadership capabilities, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, preferred.
- Must be able to adapt the schedule to support various branches and corporate office locations, including weekends and extended hours.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
- Licensed Notary Public in New York State.
- Experience inspiring and driving results through coaching and mentorship.
