Release Train Engineering Senior Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States; hybrid work schedule

Salary: $135,700–$226,100 per year, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Lead the Agile Release Train by removing impediments, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams.
• Build technology roadmaps, assess the technology landscape, and identify strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects and data engineers to develop a recommendations pipeline supporting affordable care decisions.
• Create and manage release schedules, assess release risks, and promote DevOps and continuous delivery practices.
• Manage requirements and cloud services across Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Oversee healthcare data warehousing, dashboards, APIs, streaming, notifications, and related platform integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5 years of experience in an IT role in the healthcare industry, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• Experience managing Teradata CRM solutions and Snowflake data-store roadmaps for healthcare payers.
• Experience managing AWS technologies including Terraform, S3, and Glue ETL for a large healthcare payer.
• Experience with pharmacy-domain systems, real-time next-best-action decisioning using VCXaaS, Redis, Mongo Atlas, and RedPoint products including RPI, RTD, and RPDM.
• Experience building custom REST APIs with Java and Spring Boot, managing Apache Kafka data streams, and using Twilio and Amazon SES for customer notifications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Jenkins and GitLab.
