Sr. Managers, Software Development (Public Cloud)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; some telecommuting permitted.

Salary: $163,759 annually, plus benefits and potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead teams of technology leaders, managers, and advanced engineers building critical platform capabilities and business applications.
• Define strategic project vision and strengthen the solutions enablement platform organization.
• Partner with product management and stakeholders across markets, data and analytics, technology, and operations to develop customer-focused strategies and roadmaps.
• Modernize project delivery using public cloud platforms, DevSecOps operating models, and enabling technologies.
• Guide the migration of applications and platforms to scalable modern architectures across AWS and GCP.
• Map business capability needs to existing and new architectural patterns and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of progressive software development experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, microservices, APIs, enterprise technologies, and platforms.
• Experience with AWS and GCP services, including Glue Catalog, S3, Lake Formation, BigQuery, Redshift, EMR, Dataproc, EKS, and GKE.
• Experience with data platforms and tools including Apache Hive, Hudi, data pipelines, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, Cloudability, and AWS Parallel Cluster.
• Experience with public cloud platforms and DevSecOps.
