Manager, IT Engineer II (Data & Analytics)

Salary: $121,103–$181,125 per year, plus incentive opportunity.

What you will do

• Translate commercial business and functional requirements into well-architected data, analytics, and enterprise technology solutions.
• Design, implement, configure, and support systems across AWS, Azure, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Develop automation scripts, deployment pipelines, reusable components, monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks.
• Deliver commercial data management, data warehouse, data governance, omnichannel engagement, and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Analyze incidents, perform root-cause analysis, validate system scalability and resilience, and support disaster-recovery activities.
• Coordinate with product owners, analysts, architects, QA teams, vendors, and support teams while providing technical direction to junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as an IT Engineer.
• Strong experience with commercial data and analytics technology, Snowflake, and SQL-based development.
• Proficiency with AWS or Azure, DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, and monitoring tools such as Splunk or Datadog.
• Understanding of Agile, DevOps, ITIL, change management, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulated or GxP environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently, lead a small team, and coach and review less experienced colleagues.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks, FinOps, and cost optimization.
