Principal/Senior Consultant (Energy)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico. Full-time role with travel of up to 20% as needed.

What you will do

• Represent consulting services to existing and prospective clients and support project acquisition in the regional energy market.
• Develop and implement consulting projects focused on energy transformation, electrification, and decarbonization.
• Coordinate business case, technical, and economic studies and proof-of-concept projects.
• Address challenges across high-CO2-emitting industries, electrical power systems, and data centers.
• Build customer relationships and coordinate partners and sub-suppliers for successful delivery.
• Represent hirify.global in grid standardization committees, working groups, workshops, and conferences.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering; a Master's or Ph.D. degree is preferred.
• More than 8 years of consulting experience for electrical utilities, industrial organizations, and data centers.
• Expertise in grid digitalization, energy system and market modelling, power system simulation, data center RAMS, renewable energy, and storage.
• Experience designing and implementing technology adoption roadmaps for electrical utilities.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, project coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient English is required.
