Managing Consultant - Gas & LNG (Americas)

Location: Houston, US; Mexico City, Mexico; or Calgary, Canada. Office-based role with occasional travel throughout the Americas.

What you will do

• Lead the management and delivery of commercial and strategic consulting engagements for gas and LNG clients.
• Coordinate projects by creating detailed plans, developing storyboards, managing milestones, and directing workstreams.
• Conduct complex analysis of commodity markets, project economics, market fundamentals, infrastructure, and pricing dynamics.
• Develop and use natural gas and LNG market fundamentals and pricing models with large market datasets.
• Build and present concise recommendations and strategic insights to senior audiences and clients.
• Support proposals, recruiting, training, operational improvements, internal networking, and coaching of teammates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, energy consulting, or strategic, commercial, or analyst roles related to gas, LNG, or energy markets across the Americas.
• Experience managing project workflows, coordinating delivery, directing junior colleagues, and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
• Advanced data analytics and Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of natural gas across the energy value chain, including transportation and commodity agreements.
• Strong financial, commercial, communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Top-tier master’s degree and/or MBA.
• Industry experience in gas, LNG, or energy markets.
• Expertise across North America and Latin America.
