Salary: $87,000–$154,000 per year depending on experience and level.

What you will do

• Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs supporting nuclear plant operations.
• Provide technical expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Manage engineering issues and perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses.
• Prepare plans and specifications using standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and applicable codes.
• Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, address design or material flaws, and meet regulatory changes.
• Support emergency response, outage activities, departmental coverage, and other operational assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, including mechanical, nuclear, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, or chemical engineering.
• Entry level: new graduate qualification; mid-level: 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience; senior level: 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Senior engineers must meet the additional requirements of ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 for personnel at nuclear power plants.
• Maintain applicable minimum or unescorted access requirements and pass the required medical examination or testing.
